An extremely unusual project involving the removal of an asbestos lagged external tank, suspected to be a relic from WW2!

Because the material is Licensable the work involved erecting a rigid enclosure able to withstand the external elements for several days. As it was external there was no structure to help with forming the enclosure which made it even more difficult.

During this project we were also able to adhere to Public Health England's guidance for COVID-19.

The project went extremely well due to the attention to detail and experience of our site team who even managed to achieve a Certificate of Excellence, during an audit, off our trade association, ACAD!
