FARM PROPERTY IN SURREY

This project involved removing the asbestos cement cladding forming the roofs to two separate barns prior to demolition.

One barn had a system roof which was double skinned and contained a MMMF insulation lining and various pre-fabricated items of asbestos cement products.

The roof to the second barn was single-skin, but what is known as ‘Big 6’ sheets.

Works to both barns were completed off fixed scaffolding, scaffold towers and scissor lifts.

Each work area was meticulously cleaned using tack rags and Class H vacuums to enable the follow-on works to commence safely.

The project was completed within budget and on programme to the satisfaction of the client.
